Nothing here is final.

I’m Mokee Rahman, a Bengali-Canadian immigrant. I came to Canada in the 1990s and have been learning how to belong ever since.

I write about politics, culture, memory, identity, whatever refuses to leave me alone. Not conclusions. Just what I’ve had to unlearn, and what I’m still trying to work out.

Think of me as an older brother leaving behind what proved useful. Take what helps. Question the rest. Then go farther than I did.

This is not everything I know. It’s what I know now.
